«El Libro Gregoriano de Silos» is the album by the Choir of Benedictine Monks of the Abbey of Santo Domingo de Silos, released in 2004 by Jade on CD.
The album features previously unreleased recordings of Gregorian chant performed by the choir of Benedictine monks of Silos. The pieces, tied to medieval liturgy, benefit from the acoustics of the monastery cloister and the balance of the male voices.
Two-CD edition; the title appears in Spanish and French.
Aimed at classical music collectors and listeners of Gregorian chant, sacred music and meditation.
