«El lápiz del carpintero» is the original soundtrack of the eponymous film by Antón Reixa, with music by Lucio Godoy, released in 2003 by JMB Records on CD.
Lucio Godoy's music accompanies the historical and romantic drama that Antón Reixa brings to the screen from Manuel Rivas's novel. The score, melodic in character, was performed by the Prague City Philharmonic Orchestra and includes special collaborations.
The CD includes a single disc with the soundtrack. The cover presents the credits in Spanish: film by Antón Reixa, novel by Manuel Rivas and music by Lucio Godoy.
Suitable for collectors of contemporary Spanish cinema soundtracks and for readers of Manuel Rivas's novel.
