«El equilibrista - La malaventura» is the album by the RTVE Symphony Orchestra conducted by Adrian Leaper, released in 2017 by RTVE, on double CD.
The album brings together two ballets by Javier Gúrpide and Juan Antonio Simarro performed by the RTVE Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Adrian Leaper. El equilibrista approaches the world of the circus; La malaventura offers a more intimate contrast. Among its tracks are «El despertar», «Gotas» and «De Sol».
Recorded at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid on 9 June 2006, it was produced by RNE for RTVE Música. Pablo Méndez plays the solo guitar in both ballets and José Luis Martínez in «La malaventura».
