«Eco» is the album by Jorge Drexler, Uruguayan singer-songwriter, released in 2005 by Dro (Warner) on CD.
The record moves between Latin pop and folk, with personal, introspective lyrics. Songs like «Eco», «Deseo» and «Todo se transforma» show that mix, and the closing includes «Al otro lado del río», composed for the film «Diarios de motocicleta».
The album contains twelve songs, with «Al otro lado del río» as a bonus track, and is produced by Juan Campodónico along with Carlos Casacuberta and Jorge Drexler.
For fans of Spanish-language singer-songwriter music and Latin pop with folk roots; also as a starting point in Jorge Drexler's discography.
