The album is based on the nuba Rasd Dihil of Constantine, a classical form of Andalusian music from Algeria. Salim Fergani performs this traditional repertoire with accompaniment evoking musical evenings of the Maghreb. The cover illustrates that atmosphere with three musicians dressed in classical style and a lute.

It will appeal to listeners drawn to traditional Algerian music and the Andalusian legacy of the Mediterranean.
