«Dorleac» is the debut album by Dorleac, a duo formed by Geike Arnaert and Spinvis, released in 2010 by Excelsior Recordings on CD.
A work of electronic and pop music with new age atmospheres, touches of abstract and trip hop, and Geike Arnaert's voice in the foreground; the lyrics, in English and French, are signed by Arnaert and Spinvis, who handled composition, arrangements, and production. Songs like «Dying in Silence», «Tiger Shark», and «Disparu» condense that blend of pop melody and electronic textures.
The album was recorded at The Vatican (Nieuwegein) and Dada (Brussels), mixed at Studio 150 (Amsterdam), and mastered at Loud (Amsterdam), with distribution by V2.
For fans of Geike Arnaert and for those seeking electronic pop with trip hop and new age textures.
