«Divided» is the debut album by Theoretical Girl, released in 2009 on Memphis Industries, on CD.
Divided brings together pop rock songs with twisted melodies and rhythms. Its lyrics deal with unrequited love, mistakes and regrets; «Rivals» and «Red Mist» are two representative examples.
The songs are written by Amy Turnidge. Recorded in north London and produced by Andy Chambers. Includes a single CD.
Aimed at fans of indie and lo-fi, especially those who appreciate pop with lyrics about heartbreak and regret.
