«Dave Digs Disney» is the jazz album by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, released in 1994 by Columbia on CD.
The quartet led by Dave Brubeck covers eight classic Disney film tunes in a cool jazz style, including «Alice in Wonderland», «Give a Little Whistle» and «When You Wish Upon a Star». The project arose from a visit by the Brubeck family to Disneyland, and these melodies became regulars in their repertoire; this edition adds two previously unreleased tracks.
This edition from the Columbia Jazz Masterpieces series was digitally remastered from the original analogue tapes. The CD contains eight tracks, all in mono, two of them previously unreleased.
Aimed at fans of cool jazz and instrumental versions of Disney classics.
