«Daúde» is the self-titled album by Brazilian singer Daúde, released in 1995 by Natasha Records on CD.
The self-titled album blends samba, funk and soul with echoes of hip hop; Daúde's voice moves between Brazilian cadence and the punch of urban rhythms, while the Portuguese lyrics sustain a repertoire that looks both to tradition and to the sonic modernity of the nineties.
Brazilian edition on a single disc, with catalogue number 289.109.
For listeners interested in Brazilian music of the nineties and in fusions of samba with soul, funk and hip hop.
