«Das ist mein Weg» is Nicole's album, released in 2014 by Telamo on CD.
The album celebrates Nicole's 50th anniversary and marks a shift in her sound: recorded with a live band, it combines melodic pop with echoes of gospel, big band, rock and roll, and country. The lyrics speak of experiences and dreams, with a tribute to Africa and a musical journey to Louisiana. Tracks like «Allererste Sahne», «África», and «Hello Mrs. Sippi» show that variety.
The songs are in German, within pop and schlager; it is Nicole's 26th album and was released in Germany as a single CD.
A record for fans of Nicole and German pop, with a more organic sound than her previous work.
