«Dancing With Tears in My Eyes» is the Ultravox compilation, released in 1997 by EMI Gold, on CD.
Compilation dedicated to Midge Ure's era in Ultravox, with their characteristic electronic sound of the early eighties. It brings together «Vienna», «Hymn» and the title track, among other recordings from the period, with atmospheric synthesizers, electronic bases and Ure's voice as hallmarks.
The compilation falls within synth-pop and new wave; it was issued in the EMI Gold series as a single disc, with the songs sung in English.
For listeners who want to rediscover eighties electronic pop and for collectors of Ultravox's discography.
