«Crooner» is the album by Marco Fonktana, released in 2021 by Kasba Music, on CD.
In this album, Marco Fonktana champions the classic crooner, the deep-voiced performer who dominated the American scene with big bands until the mid-1950s, and brings that figure into the present with soul, funk, jazz, Latin rhythms, samplers, scratching and echoes of old-school hip hop. Niñato and Homes Llúdriga collaborate on two of the tracks.
The album contains a single disc, of Spanish origin, and was released on 30 April 2021.
For pop rock and rock fans who enjoy soul, funk and classic hip hop.
