«Continental» is the studio album by Robin Guthrie, released in 2006 by ROCGI on CD.
An instrumental album of ten tracks in which Guthrie dispenses with vocals to build hypnotic soundscapes. His fusion of ambient, electronic and ethereal textures creates an enveloping, introspective atmosphere, with echoes of dream pop and the aesthetic of Cocteau Twins.
For fans of dream pop and ambient music, as well as for admirers of Robin Guthrie and Cocteau Twins.
