«Concerto per Mozart» is the album by Rondò Veneziano, released in 1990 by MSI Music/Super D on CD.
The Venetian ensemble reinterprets famous Mozart pieces with chamber instrumentation and a modern melodic finish. The programme combines overtures and symphonic passages such as «Cosi fan tutte», «Don Giovanni», «Jupiter» and «Die Zauberflöte», in short, elegant versions that bring the classical repertoire to a wide audience.
Arrangements by Ivano Pavesi and direction by Gian Piero Reverberi. Recorded and mixed at Country Lane Studios in Munich; approximate duration 47 minutes.
For classical music fans looking for a gentle, symphonic version of Mozart.
