«Concerto Grosso / Partita» is the album by Vladimír Godár, released in 1994 on the Point Classics label on CD.
The album brings together two works by Vladimír Godár, Concerto Grosso and Partita, in which the composer brings baroque textures closer to neoclassical harmony. These are pieces of sober language, with contrasts between ensemble passages and soloists, where the reference to ancient forms becomes modern writing.
For fans of contemporary classical music who want to hear how baroque structures coexist with a current language.
