«Concerti Grossi, Op. 6, Nos. 1-4» is the baroque music album by Georg Friedrich Händel, with the Philharmonica Slavonica and Albertzo Lizzo, on CD.
The CD brings together the first four concerti grossi of Händel's Op. 6, a representative work of the baroque. The pieces alternate slow and fast movements, contrasting ensemble passages with solo sections, according to the concerto grosso form. The Philharmonica Slavonica, conducted by Albertzo Lizzo, performs the selection.
This reissue came out in 2018, published by Classical Masterworks. Discogs catalogues it as a compilation and reissue in baroque style.
For listeners of baroque classical music and collectors of recordings of Händel's concerti grossi.
