«Concerti Armonici» is the album by Unico Wilhelm van Wassenaer performed by I Musici, released in 2010 by Newton Classics on CD.
These baroque concertos are the work of the Dutch nobleman Unico Wilhelm van Wassenaer, who, due to his social rank, published them under a false name. For years they were attributed to Handel, Pergolesi or Ricciotti, until their authorship was confirmed in 1979. The writing, Italian in style, shows affinity with Corelli in its lyricism, sensuality and contrasts.
The album consists of a single audio CD; catalogue number 8802023, edition published in the Netherlands.
For those who enjoy baroque chamber music and recordings by the ensemble I Musici.
