«Complete Works for Solo Piano, Volume 2: Early Vienna Sonatas» is the album by Ronald Brautigam with Beethoven sonatas, released in 2005 by BIS on CD.
On the fortepiano, Ronald Brautigam performs Beethoven's early sonatas recorded here: the three of Op. 2 and the two of Op. 49. The programme includes, among others, the Sonata Op. 2 No. 3 and the Sonata Op. 49 No. 1, works showing the young composer between classical heritage and his own language.
Second volume of the complete solo piano works of Beethoven.
For those seeking a historically informed approach to Beethoven's sonatas, with the sound of the fortepiano.
