«Cocoon» is the electronic music album by Field, released on CD in 2001 by the labels Cylence, PP Sales Forces and Panteon.
The compositions move between electro, downtempo and sonic experimentation: restrained rhythmic foundations, enveloping synthesizers and a dense atmosphere that sustains the entire album. It is a record aimed at attentive listening, with no concessions to immediate pop structures.
German edition on CD Digipak with catalogue number cyl 010cd; the cover credits Neil Hayes, Sachette Lane and Jason Bentwick.
For fans of experimental electronic and downtempo music, with an interest in early 2000s European releases.
