«Clarinet Quintet / Clarinet Trio» is the chamber music album by Johannes Brahms, released on CD in 2004 by Harmonia Mundi.
It brings together two late works by Brahms for clarinet: the Quintet for Clarinet and Strings, Op. 115, and the Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano, Op. 114. Both belong to the composer's final period and combine chamber writing with the clarinet in a leading role.
A single CD. Performed by Joan Enric Lluna (clarinet), Josep Colom (piano) and the Tokyo String Quartet.
For fans of chamber music and Brahms's late works.
