«Clarinet Concerto and Quintet» is the album by Benny Goodman, released in 1986 on RCA Red Seal, on CD.
This recording brings together two Mozart works for clarinet with Benny Goodman: the Concerto in A major, K. 622, with the Boston Symphony Orchestra conducted by Charles Munch, and the Quintet in A major, K. 581, with the Budapest String Quartet. This remastered reissue recovers historic recordings by the clarinettist; the Adagio and Larghetto stand out.
European edition with catalogue number RD85275; cover text in English.
For fans of classical music and historic Benny Goodman recordings.
