«Chupacabra» is the debut album by Imani Coppola, released in 1998 on Columbia as a CD.
Chupacabra blends pop, electronica and hip hop into a sound close to leftfield, with witty and at times introspective lyrics over catchy melodies. Imani Coppola's personality sustains songs that move between humour and reflection without losing momentum.
European edition with eleven tracks, released on 30 January 1998.
Aimed at fans of nineties pop and hip hop with a taste for unconventional fusions.
