«Chronos» is the album by Les Prêtres Orthodoxes, released in 2021 by Play Two, on CD.
«Chronos», a Greek word meaning «time», structures the record in two parts: one of sharing, with covers of French and international songs such as «Là où je t'emmènerai» and «I Will Follow Him»; and another of prayer, with liturgical chants in Slavonic and religious pieces such as «Ave Maria». It shows the group's dual musical and spiritual side.
The group, whose original name was Schola Fratum, is made up of five priests residing at the Russian Orthodox seminary of Épinay-sous-Sénart. The album was released in France.
For listeners of classical and choral music, and for those seeking Orthodox liturgical repertoire and covers of well-known songs.
