«Christmas Dixieland Party» is the Christmas jazz album by Gumbo Jazz Band, released in 2002 by T-Sunami Merch, S.L., on CD.
The band performs twelve traditional carols from different countries with a Dixieland sound led by wind and percussion instruments, in a cheerful and danceable proposal. The cover, with the six musicians wearing Santa Claus hats, reinforces the festive character of the repertoire.
Single-CD album with twelve songs, released in Spain under reference KWCD019; the cover uses the Catalan subtitle «12 Nadales tradicionals internacionals» and names the group as Gumbo Jass Band.
Suitable for those seeking carols with a jazzy touch and a festive atmosphere for Christmas celebrations.
