«Chants liturgiques orthodoxes» is the album by Choeurs Feodor Potorjinsky, released in 1996 by the label Voix de Son Maitre as a double CD.
The double CD collects choral chants of the Orthodox liturgy: pieces for Lent and Holy Week, matins offices, Christmas night in a Russian church and in a Ukrainian village, and the great Orthodox requiem. Among the pieces are «Chants de Carême et de Semaine Sainte», «Nuit de Noël en Russie à l'église» and «Grand Requiem Orthodoxe».
The original recordings are from 1955-1958 and the digital remastering from 1992; the album titles are in French.
For lovers of classical music, especially Orthodox sacred music and historical choral recordings.
