«Chansons d'enfance couleur jazz» is the children's jazz album by Triocéphale, released in 2005 by Enfance & Musique, on CD.
Triocéphale reinterprets a repertoire of French children's songs such as «Au clair de la lune» and «Sur le pont d'Avignon» in a jazz style. The arrangements keep the familiar melodies and wrap them in jazz rhythms and instrumentation, on a record designed to introduce children to the genre in a playful way.
The album includes public-domain melodies and compositions by Bernard Mercier; the author credits also cite Franck Intile and Françoise Kretz. The songs are performed in French.
Aimed at young children and at parents or educators who want to introduce them to jazz through familiar songs.
