«Causes Perdues Et Musiques Tropicales» is the album by Bernard Lavilliers, released in 2010 by Barclay, on CD.
The album fuses French chanson with Latin and tropical rhythms. Its lyrics, with social and travel themes, are supported by collaborations such as that of Angolan artist Bonga. The cover, a collage with a black-and-white portrait and palm trees, hints at that crossover of sounds and geographies.
CD edition of a record, in French, released in France by Barclay/Universal Music.
For listeners of French chanson interested in the fusion with Latin and tropical rhythms and in lyrics with social content.
