«Cantata Laxaton» is the musical comedy album by Les Luthiers, reissued on CD in 1996 by Discmedi.
The disc brings together the humorous numbers of the Argentine group around the cantata that gives it its title, with musical parodies of genres such as bolero, tango and waltz. Pieces like «Bolero de Mastropicio», «Pieza en forma de tango» and «Vals del segundo» show Les Luthiers' characteristic blend of popular music and comedy.
The original recording is from 1972; this CD edition, sung in Spanish, carries catalogue number DM 154 CD.
