«Built from Scratch» is the second studio album by hip hop group X-Ecutioners, released in 2002 on Sony, on CD.
The album combines hip hop and turntablism in tracks with notable collaborations: “It’s Goin’ Down”, with Mike Shinoda and Mr. Hahn of Linkin Park; “Let It Bang”, with M.O.P.; and “The X (Y’all Know The Name)”, with Pharoahe Monch, Xzibit, Inspectah Deck and Skillz. The scratching and beats are the core of the group's urban sound.
The CD edition has a total runtime of 68 minutes, a single disc, and catalogue number CK 86411.
Its blend of hip hop, turntablism and rap collaborations makes it suitable for fans of alternative rap and 2000s DJ culture.
