«Broken Voyage» is the electronic music album by Kelly David, released by CD Baby on CD in 2002.
The album presents a sonic journey of ambient and tribal electronics, with mid-tempo rhythms and deep textures that evoke unknown waters and crossings between South Pacific islands. The cover, an antique nautical chart overlaid on a maritime landscape, reinforces that idea of expedition and turns the record into an imaginary soundtrack.
Produced by Kelly David and Steve Roach, with mixes by Steve Roach at the Timeroom. Released as a single CD with catalogue number RMR0001.
For those who appreciate ambient and tribal electronics and atmospheres inspired by navigation and distant territories.
