«Brazil Classics 4: The Best Of Tom Zé» is the compilation album by Tom Zé released in 1990 on Luaka Bop, on CD.
A Tom Zé compilation assembled by David Byrne for Luaka Bop's Brazil Classics series. The programme covers the most creative period of the Brazilian artist, a figure of tropicalismo, combining traditional rhythms with experimentation close to the avant-garde, between pop and MPB.
Aimed at listeners interested in Brazilian music and sonic experimentation, as well as those wanting to discover Tom Zé's work.
