«Bom Dia» is the album by As Meninas, released in 2000 on the Big City/Candid Productions label on CD.
The quartet led by vocalist Mônica Vasconcelos explores bossa nova and samba with a Latin jazz approach, in restrained versions of classics such as «Dindi» and «Insensatez» alongside other tracks like «A Rã» and «Pára-Raio». Saxes, guitar and percussion accompany a Brazilian-rooted repertoire recorded with intimacy and without flashiness.

For those who enjoy bossa nova and vocal jazz with Brazilian roots.
