«Blood» is the album by This Mortal Coil, released in 1991 by 4AD on CD.
Blood is an electronic album that moves between ambient, experimental and illbient, with a dark and enveloping sonic atmosphere. The cover, a black-and-white portrait with a direct gaze, reinforces that sober and atmospheric tone.
The album was reissued in 1998; this edition is associated with the label 4AD Records/ADA, with catalogue number 9 45452-2.
It is suitable for listeners of atmospheric and experimental electronic music and for followers of 4AD's 1990s catalogue.
