«Beethoven: The Complete String Quartets» is the complete string quartets of Beethoven by the Vermeer Quartet, on CD, published in 1993.
Beethoven's string quartets, composed between 1800 and 1826, show the evolution of the genre from his early works to the final scores. This digital recording brings them together performed by the Vermeer Quartet, in a chamber music reading that traverses that compositional arc.
Published by Teldec; 9-CD box set with digital recording; catalogue number 9031-76457-2.
For classical music collectors and listeners seeking a complete edition of Beethoven's quartets.
