«Beethoven: Romances for Violin and Orchestra / Tchaikovsky: Concerto for Violin» is a 1989 CD by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky (Vienna Master Series).
It brings together two romances for violin and orchestra by Beethoven —No. 1 in G major, Op. 40, and No. 2 in F major, Op. 50— and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35. The recording alternates the lyricism of the romances with the virtuoso brilliance of the concerto, one of the central works of the violin repertoire.
Published by Pilz. Violinists: Alexander Pervomaski and Gunther Korner, with Philharmonia Slavonica and Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Alberto Lizzio and Werner Radtke.
For classical music enthusiasts and lovers of the great works of the violin repertoire.
