«Beethoven: Late String Quartets, Vol. 2» is a chamber music album by Ludwig van Beethoven performed by the Quartetto Italiano, released in 1996 as a double CD.
It brings together two of Beethoven's last string quartets: Op. 131 and Op. 132, works from his final period and central pieces of the chamber repertoire. The Quartetto Italiano performs them with a balanced chamber approach, in a recording of over 90 minutes that includes both scores.
Edition included in the DUO series. The cover features texts in English and a beige background design with a central ornamental motif.
