«Bach: The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 2» is Glenn Gould's album, released in 2008 by Sony Music, on CD.
This recording brings together the first eight pairs of preludes and fugues from Book 2 of Johann Sebastian Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier. Gould gives each piece a crisp articulation, transparent counterpoint and a very personal pulse, making this version a reference in the Baroque keyboard repertoire.
The album is presented as volume 4 of a series, with cover text in English and a photograph of Glenn Gould at the piano.
