«Babes In Arms» is the MC5 compilation, released in 1997 by Reachout International Records (ROIR) on CD.
Archive material from MC5 assembled by Wayne Kramer: outtakes, alternative mixes, remixes and rehearsals recorded between 1966 and 1971, plus the band's first single uncensored. The set conveys the raw energy of Detroit garage rock and psychedelic rock, in a sound that anticipates proto-punk.
The compilation includes a single disc and corresponds to a remastered and reissued edition, with catalogue number RUSCD8236.
For collectors and MC5 fans interested in rarities, demos and rehearsals by the group.
