«Aytche» is the solo debut album by saxophonist and composer Joseph Shabason, released in 2017 on Western Vinyl, on CD.
Joseph Shabason's solo debut moves between contemporary jazz, ambient music and electronics. Processed saxophone and synthesizers build immersive, introspective soundscapes, with an atmosphere close to avant-garde jazz and sonic abstraction, far from the language of more conventional jazz.
The edition with catalogue number WV165 includes a single disc and has a duration of 40 minutes; Discogs classifies the album within ambient and avant-garde jazz.
For fans of avant-garde jazz and ambient who value processed textures and synthesizers.
