«Aufgeigen Stått Niederschiassen» is the album by Hubert von Goisern und die Original Alpinkatzen, released in 1992 by Sony Music, on CD.
The album combines Volksmusik and Alpine music with rock, folk rock and pop rock, with a parodic and theatrical touch. The cover sums it up: accordion, electric guitar and a snowy mountain backdrop. The songs are sung in German and alternate traditional airs with electric arrangements.
The release dates back to 18 May 1992 and the album consists of a single CD; the European edition was distributed under catalogue number 262 752.
For folk rock and Volksmusik listeners who want an Alpine repertoire with irony and nods to pop rock.
