«Astro Lounge» is the pop rock album by Smash Mouth, released in 1999 by Interscope Records on CD.
The album presents a bright pop rock sound with influences of ska, funk and electronic music. Songs like «All Star», «Then the Morning Comes» and «Stoned» show the melodic, festive sound that popularized Smash Mouth, with choruses made for radio.
It is Smash Mouth's second studio album; it contains 15 tracks and was produced, recorded and mixed by Eric Valentine.
Recommended for those who want the hit «All Star» and late-90s pop rock.
