«Ash» is the second album by the Franco-Cuban duo Ibeyi, released in 2017 by XL Recordings, on CD.
«Ash» combines rock, pop and trip hop in an experimental approach, with lyrics that move between English and Yoruba. Kamasi Washington and Chilly Gonzales contribute to the work, with a sound close to indie pop. With this, Ibeyi consolidates a personal proposal within alternative pop.
Ash is presented in a special CD edition with one disc, released on 29 September 2017. The catalogue number is XL870CDX.
A record for those seeking experimental and indie pop with electronic textures.
