«As Time Goes By» is the album by Hungarian violinist Roby Lakatos, released in 2002 by Deutsche Grammophon on CD.
The album brings Lakatos's violin to the great film scores of classic cinema: it revives the famous «As Time Goes By» and melodies from films such as The Godfather and Schindler's List, rendered with a virtuosity close to jazz and folk.
The digipak edition contains a single disc and falls within jazz fusion, contemporary jazz and folk.
Aimed at those seeking distinctive versions of classic film scores and at followers of jazz violin.
