«Around the World in 80 Bikinis» is the compilation album by Famous Monsters, released in 1999 by Estrus Records on CD.
A compilation in which surf rock crosses with horror rock, the two styles that define the group in this release. The cover, a collage of world monuments around a central image of three women in bikinis, extends the title's travelling and beachy spirit with a vintage pop aesthetic.
It was released as a single-disc CD on 19 October 1999, with catalogue reference ES1261D from Estrus Records.
For fans of surf rock and horror rock, and for those seeking sounds of 1990s independent rock.
