«…And Then There Were Three…» is the progressive rock and pop rock album by Genesis, originally released in 1978 by Virgin and issued on CD.
After Steve Hackett's departure, Genesis became a trio (Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford) and this album reflects their shift towards more accessible rock, with synthesizers and narrative lyrics. It includes their first major international hit, «Follow You Follow Me», along with «Burning Rope» and «Many Too Many».
Ninth studio album by Genesis and first recorded as a trio. Produced by David Hentschel and Genesis; recorded at Relight Studios (Hilvarenbeek) and mixed at Trident Studios (London). Design: Hipgnosis.
For fans of progressive rock and 1970s pop rock, and for those following Genesis's trio era with Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford.
