«Alone - Solo Improvisations» is the solo jazz album by pianist Bill Evans, reissued in 1988 by Verve/PolyGram Records on CD.
This work documents Bill Evans alone at the piano: a programme of jazz standards and original compositions delivered with an intimate approach, in which improvisation is the core of the discourse.
The original album was released in 1968; this 1988 CD reissue carries catalogue number 833 801-2.
A record aimed at jazz fans and listeners interested in solo piano as an expressive format.
