«Alaitz eta Maider» is the self-titled album by the Basque duo Alaitz eta Maider, released in 1998 by Elkar on CD.
The record brings together songs from the traditional Basque repertoire with contemporary arrangements, featuring the trikitixa (Basque diatonic accordion) and the tambourine. The lyrics, sung by the duo's two voices, speak of daily life, nature and Basque culture, making this work a celebration of the folk music of the Basque Country.
The album is presented on a CD with a single disc.
An album intended for folk music fans and for those who want to approach Basque musical traditions.
