«Ain't It Funky Now!» is the Grant Green compilation, released in 2005 by Blue Note, on CD.
A compilation that covers Grant Green's most rhythmic side: the guitarist, accompanied by horns and percussion, presents a repertoire of soul-jazz and jazz-funk where groove rules. It showcases Green's improvisation and guitar in his most danceable phase, with arrangements that connect with funk.
First volume in The Original Jam Master series. Copy-protected edition; one disc, co-released with EMI.
For jazz and funk fans wanting Grant Green's most danceable side, a natural gateway to his groove era.
