«African Machine: Rhythms & Sounds» is the album by Mac Tontoh with the band Osibisa, released in 1999 by Sound Desi (Sound Design), on CD.
Mac Tontoh, known for his work with Osibisa, leads this project in which African rhythms cross paths with percussion and wind arrangements. The reference to Ghana and the decorative motifs on the cover underline the heritage of the sound; the album moves between fusion and traditional and world music, with Osibisa themselves.
German edition with catalogue number 20.3507-KE. Single-disc CD, framed in the Traditional and World Music category.
For world music fans, particularly the African scene and the legacy of Osibisa.
