«¡Abolición! Canciones y textos contra la pena de muerte» is a compilation album by various artists, released in 1989 by Dial Discos, on CD.
A collective album uniting Spanish singer-songwriter and folk music against capital punishment. It brings together Ana Belén, Chicho Sánchez Ferlosio, Suso Vaamonde, Judy Lee and others, with tracks like «Al día» and «Here's to You». It includes reflective texts that make it a sonic document of the Transition and the fight for human rights.
CD reissue of the work originally published in 1978, with songs and texts in Spanish.
Will appeal to collectors of singer-songwriter music and those seeking musical testimonies of the Spanish Transition.
